Kylpylälaitos aloitti toimintansa kesällä 1892.
The Heinola Spa opened in the summer of 1892.
Maaherranpuisto / Perspective Park
Vuonna 1786 Robert Wilhelm de Geer lisäsi asemakaavan suunnitelmaan esplanadityyppisen Perspektiivipuiston.
The governor’s residence was established in Heinola in 1776, and the town was planned by Governor Riddercreutz. In 1786, Robert Wilhelm de Geer added an esplanade-style Perspective Park to the plan.
Rantapuisto / Riverbank
Rantapuisto alkoi rakentua kylpylaitoksen perustamisen myötä vuonna 1892.
Construction of Rantapuisto began when the spa was established in 1892.
Tori / Market Square
Torielämä alkoi vuonna 1862 ja tori on toiminut heinolalaisten kohtaamis- ja kauppapaikkana siitä lähtien.
Market life began in 1862, and the Tori area has served as a meeting and trading place for the people of Heinola ever since.
