Youth services

The task of the youth services department is to support children and young people’s development and strengthen their citizenship and social skills.

The youth services are in charge of youth centres, developing services for young people and supporting the activities of youth organisations.  Together with various other organisations, we organise a variety of activities for children and young people.

The youth centres in the area are the “Pleissi” youth centre, the Kunnantupa youth centre, the Saksala adventure centre, Saha and Tommola band spaces, and Löysi’s place.
